Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's helicopter, bound for Bhimashankar Temple, was rerouted to Landewadi in Ambegaon due to inclement weather on Monday. Authorities emphasized that the diversion was part of a pre-planned route and not an emergency landing. Shinde continued his journey to the temple by road.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's helicopter, en route to Bhimashankar Temple in Pune, was rerouted to Landewadi in Ambegaon on Monday due to inclement weather conditions, as planned, police officials confirmed.
Shinde was traveling to the temple to offer prayers on the last 'somwar' of the holy month of Shravan, according to a representative from Pune Rural police.
The official clarified, "There was no emergency landing of the CM's chopper. The rerouting was as per plans. If weather conditions were unfavorable at Bhimashankar, according to Plan B, the chopper was scheduled to land at Landewadi." Following a smooth landing, Shinde proceeded to the temple by road.
