Kamala Harris Pledges Bipartisanship, Defends Policy Shifts

Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, defended her recent policy shifts towards the center during an interview with CNN on Thursday. She also opened the possibility of including a Republican in her cabinet if elected.
Despite these changes, Harris emphasized that her core values have remained consistent. 'I think the most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is, my values have not changed,' she said.
Harris' conversation with CNN's Dana Bash was aimed at demonstrating her command over various issues as she currently leads a bus tour of Georgia. She noted that including a Republican in her cabinet could bring a diversity of opinion beneficial to the American public.
