Congress Leader Files Complaint Against Union Minister

Congress leader Anil Akkara has filed a police complaint against Union Minister Suresh Gopi for his alleged misconduct towards the media in Thrissur. In a significant development, Congress leader and former MLA Anil Akkara announced on Wednesday that he has lodged a formal complaint against Union Minister Suresh Gopi.

The complaint, sent via email to the Thrissur city police commissioner, addresses Gopi's conduct towards journalists in Thrissur on Tuesday. Akkara accuses Gopi of violating his oath of office.

Gopi's behavior came under scrutiny after he responded to questions about allegations against CPI(M) MLA M Mukesh by accusing the media of misleading the public. The situation escalated when Gopi was seen angrily pushing away reporters who approached him for further comments, as captured in TV channel footage.
