The Congress has called on the BJP to expel MP Kangana Ranaut following her controversial statements regarding the farmers' protest. According to Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate, the ruling party should disown her remarks and provide clarity on her claims about US and China conspiracies against India.
The BJP expressed its disagreement with Ranaut's comments and directed her to refrain from making such statements in the future. Despite this, the Congress insists that if her views do not align with the BJP's, she should be removed from the party.
Shrinate emphasized that no leader has spoken about farmers in the manner Ranaut did and suggested that foreign powers had been involved in causing instability in India. The Congress demanded an official explanation from the government, stating that any neglect would signal weak governance under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
