RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday took aim at the Bihar government, accusing it of failing to address key issues despite having a 'double-engine government'—an NDA-led administration at both the center and state level. Yadav highlighted Bihar's distressing status as a leader in unemployment, poverty, inflation, corruption, and crime.
Yadav did not hold back, targeting the BJP for neglecting public concerns in its quest for power. He stated, 'Bihar is number one in unemployment, poverty, inflation, and in corruption...Bihar is number one in crime also...Despite having a government at the Centre and State, nothing has been corrected...BJP people are greedy for power only, they have nothing to do with the public.'
Yadav also criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, labeling him a 'tired Chief Minister' incapable of effective governance. In response, Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha rebuked Yadav for his silence on recent attacks against Hindus in Bangladesh, attributing it to 'appeasement politics,' and questioned his ability to act as a responsible social leader.
