Prashant Kishor is preparing to transition his 'Jan Suraj' campaign into a political party, aimed at eschewing affiliations with specific voting blocs by incorporating representatives from a diverse range of social groups.
The party, set to be launched on October 2 in Bihar, will feature a 25-member central committee, including five members from general category, OBCs, EBCs, scheduled castes, and minorities, as per 'Jan Suraj' representatives.
The committee members will elect a party leader annually, with the first term allocated to a representative from the most deprived community. Kishor will not join the leadership but will focus on grassroots outreach before the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.
