Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath fiercely criticized the Congress-NC alliance for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly polls, stating that the 'political ground' of these parties, which 'reaped the harvest of hatred,' has become permanently barren.
Speaking at his official residence, Adityanath accused Congress leader Rahul Gandhi of putting 'anti-national intentions' on display by forming an alliance with the National Conference. He also raised concerns about the NC's manifesto, alleging it threatens India's unity, integrity, and national security.
The BJP leader pressed Gandhi to clarify if his party supports NC's controversial positions, including the reinstatement of Articles 370 and 35A and negotiations with Pakistan over separatism. Adityanath also claimed the Congress's alliance with NC exposes its anti-reservation stance. The J&K polls will take place in three phases on September 18, September 25, and October 1.
