Tensions Escalate in Jharkhand As Police Clash with BJYM Protesters

The BJYM rally, accusing Hemant Soren's government of unfulfilled promises, escalated into chaos as protesters attempted to breach barricades and march toward the Chief Minister's residence. This forced the police to use force, resulting in injuries on both sides.

Senior BJP leaders condemned the police action, terming it 'hooliganism', and enforced prohibitory orders restricted public gatherings around the protest site. The administration cited potential threats to public order and safety as the reason for the clampdown.
