Congress Leaders Demand SEBI Chief's Resignation Over Adani Scandal

Telangana Congress, led by A Revanth Reddy, staged a dharna demanding SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Buch's resignation and a JPC probe into the Adani issue. Telangana Congress, headlined by their chief A Revanth Reddy, staged a significant protest on Thursday, demanding the resignation of SEBI Chairperson Madhabi Buch and the initiation of a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the Adani controversy.

Senior Congress leaders, including former external affairs minister Salman Khurshid, participated in the protest, holding placards that read 'The Truth Will Prevail.' The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) led a larger nationwide rally from Gun Park to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office, culminating in a dharna.

The controversy escalated after Hindenburg Research accused Buch and her husband of having stakes in offshore funds allegedly involved in the Adani money siphoning scandal, accusations the Buchs and Adani Group have vehemently denied.
