Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Sunday accused the BJP of 'poaching' MLAs and creating divisions within society. Soren's statement came amid speculation that JMM leader and former chief minister Champai Soren may join the BJP after traveling to Delhi.
Addressing a government event in Godda district, Hemant Soren claimed the BJP was importing individuals from other states to stir conflict among various social groups in Jharkhand. He further criticized the Election Commission, alleging it is influenced by the BJP.
Additionally, Soren launched the 'Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiyan Samman Yojana', a financial assistance scheme aimed at benefiting 50 lakh women, by transferring the first installment to 81,000 beneficiaries in Pakur district.
