Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath sharply criticized the previous SP government during an event at Dev Indravati Mahavidyalaya in Ambedkar Nagar, claiming that 'uncle and nephew' and their goons exploited recruitment opportunities for personal gain. Adityanath vowed that such practices would not be tolerated under his administration.

The Chief Minister distributed appointment letters to over 2,500 individuals and highlighted various initiatives, including Rs 211 crore in loans and tablet distributions to more than 5,100 students under the Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme, as part of a district-level mega employment and loan fair.

Adityanath also announced a 20% reservation for women in police recruitment, emphasizing that they would be empowered to deal with hooligans on the streets. He commended the positive changes in Ambedkar Nagar, noting the rise of new industries and employment opportunities in an area once known for criminal activities.
