Four Arrested with Meth Tablets Worth Rs 1.26 Crore in Aizawl
Four individuals, including two women, were arrested in Aizawl for possession of methamphetamine tablets valued at Rs 1.26 crore. The arrest followed a joint operation by narcotics police and Assam Rifles. The accused, all from Aizawl, face charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

Four individuals, including two women, have been apprehended in Aizawl for possessing methamphetamine tablets with an estimated value of Rs 1.26 crore, according to a police statement released on Friday.
Following a tip-off, a special narcotics police team and Assam Rifles personnel conducted a joint operation in Aizawl's Bawngkawn area on Thursday. During the operation, 9.7 kg of methamphetamine tablets were seized from the four suspects, identified as Zohmingmawia (39), V. Lalremruati (47), Lalnunzira (35), and Lalzawmliani (40), all residents of Aizawl.
The seizures mark another significant drug bust in the region, coming on the heels of a similar operation on Tuesday in Kulikawn area, where police confiscated 4 lakh methamphetamine tablets and arrested two individuals. The accused have been charged under Section 22(c)/29(1) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
