The Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) and Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) have forged a historic agreement aimed at exchanging expertise and bolstering cooperation in multiple domains, including supply chain development, human resource initiatives, and nuclear consultancy services. This landmark deal marks the inaugural collaboration between the United Arab Emirates and India in the nuclear sector.
Signed in New Delhi by Mohamed Al Hammadi, Managing Director and CEO of ENEC, and Bhuwan Chandra Pathak, Chairman and Managing Director of NPCIL, the agreement represents a significant stride toward fortifying the strategic partnership between the two nations. It also underscores their commitment to diminishing the carbon footprint of the global energy sector.
This cooperative venture is expected to pave the way for future investments and further solidify the nuclear prowess of both countries, setting a precedent in international nuclear collaboration.
