Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao labeled the BJP's actions as a 'low level conspiracy' after Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot permitted the prosecution of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the MUDA alternative site scam.
Rao emphasized that Siddaramaiah will only become stronger through these challenges. 'The CM has emerged stronger. The more you go after him, he will grow stronger,' Rao told reporters.
He also claimed that the BJP's Padayatra from Bengaluru to Mysuru, demanding Siddaramaiah's resignation, was poorly received in contrast to the Congress' successful public meetings. 'The more you target him, the more popular he becomes. He is doing a good job by serving people,' he added.
