The Karnataka BJP has escalated its protest against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's government, leading a march from Bengaluru to Mysuru to highlight alleged scams. Former CM Basavaraj Bommai accused Siddaramaiah of being involved in scams like MUDA and Valmiki Corporation, stating that the government has been mired in corruption since its inception.

Bommai further asserted that corruption permeates all departments of the state government, alleging that Karnataka is being 'put up for sale'. He emphasized the 'Mysore Chalo' padayatra is a public representation against corruption, reflecting the people's dissatisfaction with the current administration.

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi joined the critique, claiming that the Congress Party has a long history of corruption, extending from Nehru to Manmohan Singh, with Siddaramaiah continuing the tradition. Former CM Sadananda Gowda added that as a BJP member, it was his duty to agitate against the perceived injustices, aiming to pressure Siddaramaiah into resigning.

Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje alleged that funds from the MUDA and Valmiki Corporation scams were redirected to Telangana for elections on the orders of the Congress high command. She insisted that Siddaramaiah should step down to ensure justice. Karandlaje noted that while the BJP does not intend to topple the government, internal conflicts within the Congress could lead to its downfall.
