Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has announced that the state government is preparing a 'Vision document' for a developed Chhattisgarh. This document will be dedicated to the public on the state's foundation day on November 1.

During a media interaction, CM Sai highlighted the recent Niti Aayog meeting chaired by PM Narendra Modi, emphasizing the goal of a developed India by 2047. The Vision document for Chhattisgarh is being formulated with inputs from various sections of society.

On Monday, CM Sai met Union Agriculture and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to discuss issues related to agriculture and rural development in detail. The discussion focused on the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana in naxal-affected areas, among other topics. CM Sai revealed that 15.18 lakh families in Chhattisgarh have not received housing approval under the Awas Yojana, with about 7 lakh families on the waiting list and over 8 lakh in the Awas Plus scheme.
