Speaking from a private hospital where he is receiving treatment after a hunger strike, Jarange stated that he and his supporters would endorse any political party or leader championing the Maratha community's reservation cause.

'We will declare our election strategy on August 29,' he mentioned, adding that they plan to field their own candidates and support those committed to Maratha reservation, regardless of their caste or community.
