Six Arrested for Ferozepur Triple Murder; Inter-Gang Rivalry Suspected

Six persons have been arrested in Maharashtra for allegedly murdering a woman and her two relatives in Ferozepur, Punjab. The arrests were confirmed by Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav on Saturday.
In a collaborative effort involving Punjab's Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF), central agencies, and Maharashtra Police, the suspects were apprehended in Aurangabad. The case, initially reported on September 3, involved six shooters identified as associates of fugitive Ashish Chopra, hiding abroad on a fake passport.
Police revealed that the murder was fueled by ongoing inter-gang rivalry. The incident occurred near a gurdwara when the victims were ambushed and shot while in their car. The deceased were Jaspreet Kaur, Dildeep Singh, and Akashdeep Singh; another victim, Anmolpreet Singh, is receiving treatment in Ludhiana.
