Ireland's Eddie Dunbar (Team Jayco AlUla) clinched a grueling victory in Stage 20 of the Vuelta a Espana on Saturday, marking his second stage success in this year’s race. Three-time former champion Primoz Roglic finished third, further extending his overall lead.

Dunbar, after winning Stage 11, set off in pursuit of leader Pavel Sivakov during the final climb to Picon Blanco and managed to secure his lead against a competitive chasing group. “This one definitely feels a bit sweeter. Winning on top of a climb was always my dream,” said Dunbar.

Spain’s Enric Mas finished second, while Roglic, who donned the red jersey after winning Stage 19, holds an overall lead of two minutes and two seconds over Australia’s Ben O’Connor. Sunday's final stage, a 24.6-km individual time trial in Madrid, is expected to confirm Roglic as champion for the fourth time.
