Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai on Sunday criticized the DMK government, accusing it of neglecting numerous projects funded by the Centre, worth Rs 10.76 lakh crore over the past decade.
In a post on 'X', Annamalai highlighted the ongoing East Coast Road expansion project, funded with Rs 9,386 crore, a DMK election assurance now backed by the Centre. He also pointed out the Rs 5,800 crore allocation for the Chennai port-Maduravoyal elevated expressway project.
Annamalai asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would continue to meet Tamil Nadu's aspirations, despite the DMK focusing more on criticism than on performing their tasks. His response comes after Chief Minister M K Stalin expressed hopes for central support in the upcoming Union budget.
