Udhayanidhi Stalin Addresses Speculation on Deputy Chief Minister Elevation
Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin played down reports regarding his possible elevation to Deputy Chief Minister, stating that Chief Minister M K Stalin has to make the decision. Speaking at the DMK youth wing's 45th foundation day, Udhayanidhi emphasized his commitment as the party's youth wing secretary, a role he values deeply.

Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin on Saturday dismissed rumors about his potential promotion to Deputy Chief Minister, stressing that the final decision lies with Chief Minister M K Stalin.
In a brief interaction with reporters, Udhayanidhi stated, "It is the Chief Minister who has to decide," in response to speculation of his imminent elevation.
Addressing the 45th foundation day of the DMK youth wing, Udhayanidhi, also Youth Welfare and Sports Development Minister, expressed his heartfelt connection to his current role as the youth wing's secretary.
"When media inquire about the speculation of my elevation as Deputy Chief Minister, I tell them all state Ministers and party office-bearers act as deputies to the Chief Minister," he remarked.
He affirmed his primary commitment to the youth wing, urging DMK youth members to spend at least ten minutes every morning and evening on social media engagement.
