Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has strongly criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his recent claim of creating eight crore new jobs. Kharge has accused Modi of rubbing salt into the wounds of the youth through repeated falsehoods.

The Prime Minister recently cited an RBI report to underscore his government's focus on stability and growth, leading to job creation and investor enthusiasm. Modi claimed that this has silenced unemployment critics.

Kharge, however, took to 'X' to question the accuracy and sources of these figures. Highlighting discrepancies between RBI and ILO reports, he challenged Modi on unmet job creation promises, sectoral job losses, and the plight of unpaid women workers. Kharge concluded by accusing Modi of using the RBI for political gains.
