Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday reiterated India's commitment to countering Pakistan-sponsored terrorism following a deadly attack in Jammu and Kashmir that claimed the lives of four soldiers.

The attack in Doda district resulted in the death of four army personnel, including a captain. Sarma assured a stringent response to maintain peace in the region.
