In a dramatic turn of events, two armed robbers executed a heist at a jewellery store in Mumbai's Mahalaxmi locality, absconding with gold and silver worth an estimated Rs 1.91 crore, according to authorities.

The audacious robbery unfolded on Sunday in the Saat Rasta area, revealed an officer from the Agripada police station. The assailants reportedly subdued the shop owner and staff, subsequently making their escape with the valuables.

The case was lodged following a complaint from the shop owner, Bhavarlal Dharamchand Jain. As investigations continue, the Crime Branch has deployed multiple teams to capture the culprits and bring them to justice.
