The Supreme Court has dismissed an FIR against Kim Wansoo, a foreign national, accused of failing to pay Rs 9 crore to a company over a development project.
A bench comprising Justices C T Ravikumar and Sanjay Kumar overruled the 2020 decision of the Allahabad High Court, stating the allegations against Wansoo were vague.
The court clarified that insisting on a trial under these circumstances constitutes an abuse of legal process, thereby quashing any further proceedings.
