Tragedy at Mayur Vihar-1 Metro: A Young Life Lost

A 23-year-old man met a tragic end after leaping from the Mayur Vihar-1 Metro Station platform on Monday, police reported.
The incident, occurring around 11 am, prompted an immediate response from emergency teams, who transported the victim, identified as local resident G Abhishek Rao, to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital.
Despite urgent medical care, Rao succumbed to his injuries. No suicide note was retrieved, prompting police to inquire with his family about possible motives, while the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation confirmed the occurrence.
