Drama Unfolds in Politician's Murder Case: Key Shooter Remanded

In a significant development, a Mumbai court on Monday remanded the alleged main shooter Shivkumar Gautam and four others, involved in the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, in police custody until November 19.
The arrests of Shivkumar Gautam and his accomplices were made by the UP special task force and Mumbai Crime Branch from Nanpara in Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich district. The accused were produced in court, where the police sought remand to investigate financial ties and the procurement of arms.
Police accused Anurag Kashyap of providing Shivkumar with Rs 2 lakh, raising questions about the money's source. The investigation has also linked Shivkumar with wanted accused Shubham Lonkar, highlighting a need for further custody to track Lonkar's whereabouts.
