Major Drug Bust and Arrests in Udhampur
Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir apprehended two individuals near a Udhampur checkpoint, recovering over a kilogram of charas. The suspects, Jagdish Raj and Kuldeep, were arrested. A separate operation led to the capture of two individuals involved in an attempted murder case who had evaded arrest for months.

In a significant operation, Jammu and Kashmir police have arrested two individuals suspected of drug trafficking. The arrest took place at a checkpoint in Udhampur district where law enforcement officials seized over a kilogram of charas.
The suspects, identified as Jagdish Raj and Kuldeep, were traveling on foot to Jammu when they were intercepted in Chenani. Both were taken into custody immediately as 1.13 kilogrammes of charas was confiscated.
In a separate operation on the same day, police nabbed two individuals wanted in connection with an attempt-to-murder case in the Bishnah area of Jammu. The wanted criminals had been on the run for four months, according to police sources.
