Heroin Bust in Malwani: Four Arrested with Rs 2.37 Crore Worth Narcotics

Four people from Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand were detained in Malwani, north Mumbai, on Saturday for allegedly possessing 594 grams of heroin valued at Rs 2.37 crore, as confirmed by a police official.
The arrests were carried out by the Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC), which continues to probe the individuals' drug-peddling network. Authorities have launched a comprehensive investigation into this case.
This arrest is part of a broader initiative, with 68 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act cases filed this year, resulting in 146 arrests, including six related to heroin where Rs 8.88 crore worth was seized.
