In a stirring speech at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed determination to restore the region's statehood and dignity. Interacting with civil society members, Abdullah emphasized the importance of a return to state governance, calling the current Union Territory status temporary.
He highlighted the establishment of people's government and stressed on the need for genuine peace. Abdullah insisted such peace should arise from collective will rather than imposed calm, urging a partnership-driven approach.
