In a tragic incident in Karauli district, Rajasthan, a couple was discovered deceased with gunshot injuries in their vehicle on Wednesday, authorities have confirmed. The deceased, identified as Vikas and his wife Deeksha from Agra, Uttar Pradesh, were reportedly returning home from a visit to the Kaila Devi temple.
Deputy SP Karauli, Anuj Shubham, detailed that the bodies were found in their parked car near Bhojpur village, with Deeksha in the rear seat and Vikas in the front. Initial investigations suggest the crime occurred late Tuesday night and possibly involved another individual present in the car.
The grim discovery was made by local residents who informed the police on Wednesday morning. The bodies have been sent for a post-mortem examination as police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deaths, Deputy SP Shubham stated.
