Inspired by Ayodhya's grand Deepotsav feastivities, Shringverpur and Prayagraj also partook in the luminescent celebrations of Lord Ram's homecoming. The festivities trace their roots to the epic Ramayana, where Nishadraj aided Lord Ram, Sita, and Lakshman during their exile.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, participating in the celebrations, illuminated lamps along the Ganga's banks in Shringverpur and at the Nishadraj Garden. This symbolic gesture was part of the larger Deepotsav commemorations that attracted a significant audience.

In Prayagraj, as the Deepotsav continued, the Bharadwaj Muni Ashram became a focal point, with Maurya offering prayers amidst a large crowd. The festival excitement extended to the Sangam bank and Baluaghat, where residents performed 'aartis' and lit lamps along the Yamuna River, creating a resplendent display alongside ongoing fair activities.
