Kashmir Tunnel Tragedy Spurs Massive Security Operation

Following a deadly terror attack on a tunnel construction site in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir, which left seven dead, authorities have intensified search operations in the area. National Investigation Agency (NIA) agents are collecting evidence. The attack targeted non-local laborers, marking it as one of the deadliest incidents since 2006.

Security forces launched a massive operation on Monday in the wake of a deadly terror attack at a tunnel construction site in J-K's Ganderbal, where seven people were killed. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is currently gathering evidence at the site.

The army, CRPF, and police forces are scouring the area to identify and apprehend the terrorists and their supporters responsible for this significant attack on non-local laborers in Kashmir. While no arrests have been made yet, officials remain hopeful about developing leads.

This recent attack, the worst on non-local laborers since 2006, saw unidentified terrorists open fire on workers returning to their camp at the tunnel project on the Srinagar-Leh highway. In response, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has vowed retribution and blamed external forces for the threat to regional peace.
