The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken significant action in Anantnag district, attaching a property under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in connection with a terror-related investigation.
The attached property, a 19-marla land parcel located in the Halpora area of Kokernag, belongs to resident Mohammad Akbar Dar, according to officials.
The NIA explained this move as part of a broader strategy to dismantle financial structures supporting terrorism and unlawful activities in the Union Territory, highlighting their ongoing efforts to combat terror funding.
