The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed a plea by former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, challenging a Gujarat High Court decision over defamation charges regarding his remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's education.

Justices Hrishikesh Roy and S V N Bhatti highlighted a consistent judicial approach, referencing a prior plea dismissal involving AAP leader Sanjay Singh.

The Gujarat High Court had rejected both Singh and Kejriwal's requests to quash summons from the defamation case initiated by Gujarat University.
