In a significant judicial decision, the Supreme Court of India on Monday rejected a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) that sought to replace the term 'Hindutva' with 'Bharatiya Samidhaanitva,' meaning Indian constitutionalism.

A bench led by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud, along with Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra, dismissed the PIL, labeling it as a complete abuse of the judicial process.

The petition was filed by S N Kundra, a resident of Vikaspuri, Delhi, but was firmly declined by the Chief Justice, stating, "No sir, we will not entertain this."
