K T Rama Rao, the BRS Working President, has called on his party's cadres to ramp up their opposition to the Congress-led government in Telangana, accusing it of rampant misgovernance and corruption.

In his New Year message, Rao praised the dedication of party workers in highlighting the Congress regime's failures, pledging to continue the battle for justice for Telangana's people. He addressed the party members as 'Gulabi soldiers,' highlighting the critical protests they led, such as the corruption in the Musi project and the Lagacharla farmers' struggle.

Rao noted that these protests demonstrated the party's commitment to Telangana's populace. He mentioned the success in reversing a Rs 100 crore Adani-linked project and in stopping plans for an ethanol factory in Nirmal. Critically, he accused the Congress of policies rooted in deception and stressed the importance of unity within the BRS to counter divisive politics.

Echoing the BRS slogan, 'Telangana First,' Rao rallied the cadres to reveal and resist perceived betrayals by Congress. He concluded by urging continued vigilance and extending New Year greetings to the party workers, emphasizing the fight to secure Telangana's future.
