According to Axios, Israel handed the United States a document outlining its prerequisites for a diplomatic resolution to the ongoing conflict in Lebanon. Officials from both nations confirmed the exchange last week.

Israel's stipulations include allowing the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to enforce measures preventing Hezbollah from rearming and rebuilding its military near the border. Additionally, Israel demands unrestricted operation of its air force in Lebanese airspace, according to official sources.

However, as indicated by a U.S. official, these conditions are unlikely to gain acceptance from Lebanon and the international community. Diplomatic channels remain engaged, with White House envoy Amos Hochstein scheduled to visit Beirut for further discussions. Requests for comments from Israeli and Lebanese embassies went unanswered.
