Tensions Rise as France Bars Israeli Firms from Naval Trade Show
The Israeli Foreign Minister announced legal proceedings against French President Macron after French authorities barred Israeli firms from participating in an upcoming naval trade show. The decision, linked to tensions over Israel's military actions, affected seven Israeli firms.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry is initiating legal actions against French President Emmanuel Macron following France's decision to prohibit Israeli firms from taking part in a military naval trade show scheduled in Paris next month.
This disqualification marks yet another chapter in the strained relations between the Macron administration and Israel, primarily due to French dissatisfaction with Israel's military activities in Gaza and Lebanon.
According to the trade show organizer Euronaval, the French government has communicated that while Israeli delegations are barred from exhibiting their products, they may still attend the event. This decision impacts seven Israeli companies.
