Massive Drug Bust: Delhi Police Nabs Seventh Suspect

The Delhi Police's Special Cell has made a significant arrest in the aftermath of a colossal drug bust valued at more than Rs 5,500 crore. The latest suspect, identified as Akhlak, hails from Hapur in Uttar Pradesh and becomes the seventh individual detained in this high-profile case.

A senior police official revealed that Akhlak was involved in the transportation of drugs across north India, and his interrogation is currently ongoing. This development follows the seizure of over 560 kg of cocaine and 40 kg of hydroponic marijuana on October 2.

The drugs, confiscated from a warehouse in Mahipalpur, south Delhi, have already led to the arrest of six others. Two were captured in Amritsar and Chennai, while the other four were detained on the spot, marking this as one of the most extensive drug operations in Delhi's history.
