Three advocates were appointed as judges in the Gujarat High Court on Tuesday, according to an announcement by the Law Ministry.
The Ministry's statement revealed that Sanjeev Jayendra Thaker, Deeptendra Narayan Ray, and Maulik Jitendra Shelat will take up their judicial roles as soon as they assume charge.
Traditionally, advocates and district judiciary officers are appointed as high court judges, bringing their expertise and experience to the higher judiciary.
