Courier Theft in Delhi: Man Arrested for Stealing Parcel
Delhi Police have apprehended Deep Chand for allegedly stealing a parcel, worth Rs 35,000, that he was assigned to deliver. The complaint was lodged by a woman on September 18. Chand was arrested in Jahangirpuri and the stolen goods were recovered.

Delhi Police have detained a man named Deep Chand for allegedly decamping with a parcel valued at Rs 35,000 after picking it up from a woman who had booked a courier service via a mobile app.
On September 18, the woman filed a complaint stating that she had booked the courier service, and Deep Chand, 28, was assigned to deliver the package. However, the goods did not reach their destination.
A senior police officer said the woman tried to contact Chand multiple times via calls and texts, but received no response. Based on her complaint, an FIR was registered, and an investigation was launched. Chand was arrested in Jahangirpuri, where the stolen items were recovered from his possession. Further investigation is ongoing.
