Fake Call Centre Busted: 9 Arrested in Major Scam

A fake call center in Sector 63 has been dismantled by police, resulting in the arrest of nine individuals. The scam involved cheating people with false promises of overseas jobs and work visas. Authorities seized several electronic devices and fake documents during the raid.

A fake call center running in Sector 63 here was busted, leading to the arrest of nine individuals, including six women, police confirmed on Saturday.

The suspects were involved in defrauding people by promising them overseas jobs and work visas, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone II) Shakti Mohan Awasthi.

Officers raided the E-block of Sector 63, seizing 24 laptops, three CPUs, an LED TV, a keyboard, and fake documents. Further investigation is ongoing.
