Gurugram police dismantled a major illicit liquor manufacturing operation in a Rathiwas village raid on Thursday, arresting four suspects. Officials reported the seizure of 3,250 litres of spurious liquor among other materials from the site.
The raid, led by a crime unit team, followed a tip-off received earlier that morning. The detainees have been identified as Anup, Sarabjit, Sonu Rathor, and Lokesh.
According to a senior police spokesperson, the accused had been operating a clandestine setup by initiating production in the early hours to avoid detection. 'We are currently interrogating the suspects to gather further details,' the spokesperson added.
