Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara on Tuesday indicated that the government is mulling the possibility of setting up a fast track court to hear the Renukaswamy murder case, in which Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and 16 others are accused.

In response to a query about the formation of a fast track court, Parameshwara informed reporters that the government is considering it to ensure swift justice in the case.

Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda revealed that discussions with legal experts are ongoing to decide on this matter, as the 3,991-page preliminary chargesheet has already been filed.
