The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has officially chargesheeted four men connected to the Rameshwaram Cafe blast, linking them to a thwarted IED attack at the Bengaluru BJP office during a key ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
According to the NIA, the suspects, Mussavir Hussain Shazib, Abdul Matheen Ahmed Taaha, Maaz Muneer Ahmed, and Muzammil Shareef, used fraudulently obtained Indian SIM cards, bank accounts, and Bangladeshi identity documents accessed via the dark web to conduct their activities.
Initially attempting an IED attack at the BJP office, two key accused then coordinated the Rameshwaram Cafe explosion, injuring nine and causing extensive property damage. Following extensive investigations and coordinated efforts with state police, the NIA apprehended the suspects in West Bengal.
