The Bengaluru Police have filed an extensive 1,652-page chargesheet against former MP Prajwal Revanna, accused of rape and sexual assault, in the special court on Monday.

Revanna, currently held in Parappana Agrahara Jail, is under investigation by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) for four separate cases. Police confirmed that the chargesheet was filed on June 12 at the CID's cyber crime police station in Bengaluru.

The case implicates Revanna in crimes including sexual harassment, stalking, criminal intimidation, and privacy violations under the IT Act. The victim, a woman allegedly harassed over video call, and 113 supplementary witnesses have provided statements. Forensic evidence was also collected, leading to the comprehensive chargesheet submitted to the Special Court. Revanna was detained by the SIT on May 31 upon return from Germany and suspended from JD(S) following the incident.
