Ukraine's Largest Drone Assault Targets Moscow Region
Ukraine launched its most significant drone attack on Moscow, causing a woman's death, damaging homes, and disrupting 50 flights. Russia claims to have destroyed many drones and blamed Ukraine for targeting civilians. Kyiv has been intensifying drone attacks in retaliation to Russia's ongoing aggression.
In a significant escalation, Ukraine executed its largest drone attack on Russia's Moscow region, resulting in at least one fatality and the destruction of numerous homes. This aggressive move disrupted nearly 50 flights from Moscow's airports.
Russia, claiming it intercepted and destroyed at least 20 Ukrainian drones over Moscow and 124 in other regions, accused Ukraine of terrorism. Moscow's governor reported three injuries and significant property damage in the Ramenskoye district.
Both Ukraine and Russia are ramping up drone warfare, transforming commercial drones into lethal weapons. As Kyiv defends its attacks as a counterstrike, Russia continues to target Ukraine's infrastructure, escalating tensions further.
