Nagpur Incident: BJP Leader's Son's Audi Involved in Multiple Collisions
A luxury Audi car registered to Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule's son, Sanket, collided with several vehicles in Nagpur’s Ramdaspeth area early Monday. The driver and another occupant were detained for a medical examination to check for alcohol. A case has been registered, and an investigation is ongoing.

A luxury Audi owned by Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule's son, Sanket, caused a series of collisions in Nagpur, Ramdaspeth area, early Monday morning. The driver and a companion were detained, pending a medical examination that includes alcohol detection tests, according to police sources.
Sitabuldi police reported that the Audi first hit Jitendra Sonkamble's car around 1 am, followed by a moped, injuring two riders. The vehicle then collided with multiple others before being stopped near Mankapur bridge by occupants of a Polo car it also struck.
Investigations revealed the Audi's occupants were returning from a beer bar. The police registered a case of rash driving based on Sonkamble's complaint. Maharashtra BJP chief Bawankule acknowledged the vehicle involved was his son's and called for an unbiased investigation.
