Tragic Discovery: Infant's Body Found at Thrissur Railway Station
The body of a two-day-old infant was discovered in a shoulder bag on a foot overbridge at Thrissur railway station. Tragedy struck Thrissur railway station as the body of a two-day-old infant was discovered abandoned in a shoulder bag on a foot overbridge on Sunday.
The discovery was made by a contract sweeper, who notified the Railway Protection Force (RPF). Upon inspection, RPF officials found the deceased male infant. A senior railway police official confirmed the finding and announced that further investigation is underway.
Authorities have registered a First Information Report (FIR) and are diligently examining CCTV footage to identify the individual who left the bag. The infant's body has been transferred to Thrissur Medical College for further examination.
